Then, after you finish the first round on
C&C_Under, it will load Canyon. There will be no AI on the other maps,
but at least you can run around, explore, and get an idea for rush
tactics. You can see all the multimaps in the appropriate directory,
just have the .mix filename as the map name. If you need a template,
just make a dedicated (or non-dedicated, I suppose) server configuration
and save the config. It will be an INI file that you named for it when
you saved it. It will look exactly the same, and you can see how it
manages the maplist and other variables.
Dealing With Mutants - When you come up against those tiberium mutated
monsters, use either a laser-based weapon or the flame thrower -
shooting them with tiberium guns like the chem sprayer only heals them.
Better Hum-Vees and Dune Buggies - To augment the destructive ability of
any vehicle, try becoming a Technician or Hotwire and rig your ride with
proximity mines!
Buggy Rush from Berserker - Since the Nod Buggies are only 300 credits,
a couple guys can buy some and take a passenger with them. The most
effictive combinations would be 2 Engineers, A Technician and an
Engineer, 2 Technicians, or a Technician and someone to cover them.
Since GDI's Advanced Gaurd Tower doesn't destroy the Buggies extremely
fast they can usually get to a building and drop off their passengers to
make short work of any building.
Burning Chem-Warriors - NOD Chem-Warriors are highly vulnerable to fire.
Flame on! Too bad the GDI can't get flamethrowers in multiplay.
In this case, you would have 100 rounds in the gun and 255 rounds in the
reserve, get it? Edit numbers to whatever you wish, save and get back to
game. Both the current ammo and reserve ammo are saved as float (4
bytes), and
by replacing string before "1304" with "FFFFFFFF" you get unlimited
"clip" or reserve to your weapon. This can be especially fun when
combined with certain weapons, example would be Personal ion cannon
which produces "Death Ray".
Unlimited skirmish mode time - Use a text editor to edit the "svrcfg_skirmish.ini"
file in the "\westwood\renegade\data" directory. Change the "gametime"
value to zero to remove the time limit. You can also edit the amount of
staring money.
More multiplayer units - Press F8 and enter extras fnkqrrm. In the
Purchase terminal, hold down ALT when you click on Vehicles or
Characters to access the extras.

Start the game with "console-cheatcc" parameter in the command line, and
you'll be able to bring up the console with ~ key. Type the following
cheat codes in the console during the game:
