Press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + C during game play to display a
prompt in the upper left corner of the screen. Enter one of
the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat
function. Note: Enter [Exclamation point] at the prompt to
repeat the last cheat entered. Enter a [Semi-colon] between
codes to enter multiple codes at the same time.
Additionally, most of the codes will only work with the
unpatched version of the game.

Quick money:
Enable cheat mode and enter the rosebud code. Display the
cheat prompt again and type (up to sixty total commands may be entered).
Enable cheat mode and enter rosebud;: as a code. Then hold
[Enter] so that "No such cheat" begins to flash. Keep the
key held to gain up to 99 million simolians. Note you can
replace : with any invalid character in the cheat.
Enable cheat mode and enter rosebud ; ; as a code.
Once you reach 9,999,999 simoleons, it will stay that way
for the rest of your game.
Free Simoleons:-
Buy a rocket launcher. Have your Sim launch the rocket, and
watch where it lands. This only works if the rocket lands
within your property, and may require a few attempts. When
the rocket explodes and disappears, go to buy mode and move
the pointer over the square where the rocket was located.
Click on it and the screen will say similar to "Toy Rocket:
Down/Exploded $2,300". Sell the rocket for 2,300
Simoloeons. Considering the rocket launcher is only 40
Simoloens, this is a very good deal.
Get abducted by aliens:-
To get abducted by aliens, buy a telescope and gaze at the
stars at about 2 or 3 in the morning. Be patient, your Sim
will soon be abducted by a strange light. Fast forward the
a few hours of game time. The aliens will place your Sim
back on the ground. He or she will go about back to normal,
and may sometimes talk to a neighbor or think about being
abducted.
Full need bars:-
Enable the move_objects on code, enter Buy mode, then
select your Sim and delete it. Return to Live mode. Click
on the deleted Sim's face, and a red circle should appear.
Note: If there is a pool near by, this will not work, Click
on their face and it will reappear. You only have to save
it if relationship stats or skills have changed. If you do
not save, the stats and skills will go back to the last
time you saved the game.
Note: If you delete your Sim, its need bars will be all
green but your he or she will lose its job.
Potions:
Buy a Concoctanation Station. Have your Sim make potions
and then drink them.
Blue: Fills three of your stat bars.Light Green: Depletes all of your stat bars.
Dark Green: Make an evil clone.
Orange: Turns you invisible.
Yellow: Change your personality points.
Red: Make someone fall in love with you.
Purple: Turn you into a monster.
No bills:
Enable the move_objects on code and delete the mailbox.
There will be no mailbox to collect bills. You can also
just delete the bills directly.
Note: Doing this in the unpatched version of the game will
make you unable to greet any of your guests.
Never pay bills:
Use the following trick to pay your bills, but cost you
nothing. Tell your Sim to pay the bill as soon as he or she
walks into the same room as the bill. Pause and save the
game, then enable the move_objects on code. Delete your
Sim, then revive him while the game is still paused. Resume
the game and tell your Sim to pay the bill. The bill should
be reduced to 0 Simoleons.
Never pay gardener:
This is difficult to do, but is very useful. Buy a large
number of flowers and put them all over your lot. Try to
keep them as far away as possible. Hire a gardener once all
the flowers need water. The gardener will arrive and walk
around watering, but may not ever be done due to all the
flowers needing to be watered again. Your plants will stay
watered, and you will never pay a cent. However, you will
have to listen to and watch the gardener until they are
fired.
Never miss work:
Enable the move_objects on code and put your garbage can in
front of the vehicle.
Enable the move_objects on code and move the car to a
different location where an inanimate object is in its way.
No work or school:
Pause game play at 7:59 when your kids are just about to go
to school. Enable the move_objects on code, then delete
your Sim kids. Resume the game and click on their faces at
the family bar that shows job, personality, etc. The bus
will not arrive. You can do the same thing with adult Sims
that are going to work. Always delete them a minute before
they must leave. It will not count as absence or missed day
of work. You will also not have your grade go down or get a
call from your adult Sims workplace.
Keep your job:
Use the following trick to keep your job after losing it
because of choosing a newly adopted baby. After the message
informing you that your Sim has lost their job appears,
click "OK". Enabel the move_objects on code and enter buy
mode. Delete your Sim (this is only temporary), then revive
your Sim by clicking its picture. Your Sim should still
have their job, and his or her need bars should be full.
Steal a car:
When a car arrives pick up your Sim for work, pause game
play. Enable the move_objects on code and pick up the car.
Place it wherever desired (even in your house), and build
walls around it like a garage. You now have a car, bus, or
other vehicles. It will disappear after a few days, but you
can steal it again.
Quick actions:
If you do not want to wait for your Sims to do whatever it
is that you want them to do, go to furnish mode, click on
the object, and bring it to them.
Keeping your guests:
To keep guests at your house, make a mini-house for them
including a bed, toilet, sink, counter, and refrigerator.
Then, enable the move_objects on code. When a guest visits,
pick them up and place them in the mini-house. They will
become trapped there. If they are hungry, you must make
food for them -- guests cannot make their own food.
Housemaid does not go away:
Buy the housemaid robot (Servo) for 15,000 Simoleons. Then,
turn him on so that he is out of his station. Put the game
on buy mode and enable the move_objects on code. Click on
Servo and move him somewhere far from his station. Then,
click on his station and delete it. Servo will keep tidying
up your house until you delete him.
Exceed family member limit:
Use the following trick to add other members to your
family, after you already have eight members. Enable the
move_objects on code. If you have a family that consists of
eight members and you want to add another, delete six of
your family members. Those members are not gone forever. If
you want another kid, keep the parents active and try to
get a baby. If you want another pet, keep one adult active
and buy a pet. You will not be able to control what this
new member does.
Get new baby:
If your baby gets neglected after the window for SimCity
Social Services is closed, go to build mode. Select the
door tool and delete all doors that go outside. When live
mode is resumed, you will lose your old baby and get a new
one.
Never lose your baby:
If the child services person comes to your house, let her
get the baby in her arms then enable the move_objects on
code. Delete her and the baby will be born again. Note: You
have to start the three days over again.
Birthday parties:
Buy a cake and place it on the kitchen table. Select any
Sim and put the pointer on the cake. Choose to blow out the
candles with that Sim and every Sim that lives in that
house should have party hats and toys. Note: Do not have
the cake too long before you do this, as this will not work
without candles.
Genie:
Buy an antique lamp, then tell your Sims to clean it. A
Genie will appear and ask you something. Choose an answer
and he will zap your Sim and something will appear. Note:
Depending on what you chose, something different will
appear.
Sonny The Clown:
To get Sonny The Clown to come to your house, buy the
Tragic Clown Painting and put it up in a room. Then, get
your motives all the way down. The game will tell you when
he appears. He wanders around, trying to cheer you up but
he will only make you madder. You can interact with him
with actions such as "Cheer up" an such. He is fun for
awhile but then starts to get on your nerves. There are two
ways to get rid of him. You can either raise your motives
or go to a phone, select "Services" and choose "Clown
Catchers". This will cost 500 Simoleons, but it is funny to
watch the person run around with a crazy looking gun trying
to catch the clown.
Get rid of clown:
If you do not want the clown to arrive at your house when
you are sad, buy the picture of a clown and hang it on top
of your fireplace. It will begin to burn and the clown will
no longer go to your house. If it does, repeat those steps.
Maid stuck in the bath:
If you have a maid, enable the move_objects on code and
switch to build mode. Click on the maid and you will be
able to move her anywhere. Pick up the maid and put her in
a bath. She will not be able to get out.
Get rid of visitors:
Enable the move_objects on code, click on an unwanted
guest, clown, mime, or police then press [Delete].
Set house on fire:
Buy a rocket launcher and put it outside. Launch it at any
time. As the rocket is about to land, enter buy mode.
Enable the move_objects on code. Click on the rocket and
drag it into your house. This will only work if the rocket
can fit indoors. Resume live mode, and the room you placed
the rocket in will catch fire.
Put a grill in the room that you wish to set on fire. Take
one of your Sims and assign him or her with the grill.
There will soon be a fire.
Floating house:
Move your Sims into an empty lot. When building the first
floor, have it completely made out of pillars and one
staircase going to the second floor. Once you finish the
making the second floor, enable the move_objects on code.
Delete all the pillars on the first floor. You will now
have a floating house.
Second story:
Instead of placing a number of pillars to make a second
story, just build a normal first floor with nothing in it,
then build a second floor and delete the walls on the first
floor.
Naked Sim:
As soon as a Sim enters the shower or bath, go to build
mode and use the hand tool, to remove the shower or bathtub
from the bathroom. The Sim will continue to shower or
bathe, but they will be bare without the pixelated
censoring.
Making a Sim use The Vibromatic Heart Bed by either
vibrating or relaxing in it. Enable the move_objects on
code and move the Vibromatic Heart Bed about two squares
away from the Sim. What remains will be a floating naked
Sim.
This trick requires two Sims that love each other and have
a relationship of 100. Buy a Vibromatic Heart Bead and
place it anywhere desired. Enable the move_objects on code.
Tell one of your Sims to vibrate in the bed. After he or
she gets in bed, tell the other Sim to play in the same
bed. When he or she gets in, the two lovers will look at
each, then go under the bed. Once they do this, pause game
play, go to "Buy Items", and click on the bed. Then, move
the bed over and you will see both two Sims naked.
Make your Sim eat air:
Make your Sim make dinner and let he or she sit down at the
table. When he or she is about to eat, enter buy mode.
Then, switch it over to the other side on another chair.
This will move your Sim to the other side without its
plate. Watch your Sim as it pokes at the table with its
fork and eats.
Sim swims in their clothes: ress [Ctrl] + [Shift] + C and wait until a Sim is standing
still. Then, grab them in buy mode and place them in the
pool. Your Sim will now be swimming in their clothing.
Get a pool and enable the move_objects on code. Move your
Sim onto the pool. When released, he or she will be
swimming in their clothes.
Make a swimming pool about fifteen or sixteen squares
(squared) and delete about nine squares in the middle of
it. Place a book shelf in it and put in steps so that they
can get up. Then ,move the pointer over the shelf and make
them get any type of book. They will then swim to get it,
then swim (while holding the book) back. Note: Do not
forget to put stairs on the side of the pool.
Swim in a puddle:
If you have a puddle on your lot, make one of your Sims
start swimming in the swimming pool. Then, enable the
move_objects on code. Pick up your Sim and put them in the
puddle. It will appear as if your Sim is swimming in a
puddle.
Cockroaches/Virtual Reality set:
Do not clean your house and wait for cockroaches to appear.
When they appear, pick them up and sell them for 460
Simoleans. The game will describe them as the SSRI Virtual
Reality Set.
Stool labeled as Doll House:
Have a child in your family. Get them to use the sink and
they will get on top of a stool. Pause game play and enable
the move_objects on code. Pick up the stool, and it will
read "Doll House".
Everlasting Genie:
Enable the move_objects on code then buy a magic lamp.
Place it on a surface and clean it. As the Genie appears,
go into buy mode and pick up the Genie. Then, place him
anywhere desired. He will still grant your wish but will
never go away (unless you delete him). He will just sit in
mid air and fall off his invisible platform every now and
then. If you rub the lamp again, another Genie will appear
and the other one will stay where he is.
Everlasting Genie with Gnome:
Use the "Everlasting Genie" glitch then make a Gnome using
the Kraft King woodworking table. When it is finished and
placed on the ground, enter buy mode and place it under the
floating Genie. Note: The Genie must be over the floor with
nothing underneath or outside with nothing underneath. The
Gnome will start floating just in front of the Genie, and
will wobble when the Genie moves. |
