Random Select  -  Hold left or right for three seconds and your cursor will start moving around very fast. Press any button for a randomly selected character 

Alternate Color  -  To get your character's alternate color, hold up or down (if your character is at the top row, hold up if at the bottom row, hold down ) for three seconds and press any button.

Hit Your Opponents More  -  Hold L + R after the last round of a match to hit your opponents some more. 

Taunt  -  Press Down, Down, L+R to taunt. 

Play as Doom  -  Start the game without shortcuts, then press down down and hold the down position, rapidly press a, ab, abc in one motion so that at first you press a then while still holding a press b then while still holding a and b press c so that you are holding abc together. If you do it quickly enough you will here "Captain America" but a second later Dooms face and name appear. For this code to work you must have beaten the game at least once (from Dan Benedict) 

Play as Thanos  -  Press up up and hold the up position, rapidly press z, zy, zyx. It's just like the Dr. Doom code, every thing must be done the same way. For this code to work you must have beaten the game at least once (from Dan Benedict) 

Play as Anita  -  To play as Anita in the import version of Marvel Super Heroes you must first have the other bosses (or finish at least once in the default settings). Go to the character select screen with the short cut off do these motions on the joypad, tap up, right, down, left, up, right, down, left, up. Keep holding Up, quickly press x then y (still holding x), then z (still holding x and y). At the end, x, y, and z should held down. Beat the game with her and save the game, turn the shortcut on, and you will see her name in Arcade and Versus modes. The code will not need to be done again. 

Turn off Infinity Gems in VS. Mode  -  When "ROUND 1" scrolls across the screen, player one should press down, then L & R at the same time. If done right "No Gems?" will appear...at this time Gems are still on. Now, Player Two should do the same, pressing down, then L & R at the same time. If done before "FIGHT!" appears on the screen, "NO GEMS" should appear at the bottom of the screen, and no Infinity Gems will appear during the duration of the fight. 

Moves for Dr. Doom
LASER - down to toward and any punch
Photon shot - toward to back and any punch
Ground Raise - toward to back and any kick
Super moves - down to toward and plus the 3 punches (can be done in mid-air)
Flight - down to back plus any 3 kicks

Smashing Pumpkins  -  You must have the reality gem. Call on the reality gem, then when you have called upon it press the top 2 buttons on the top of the controller and you can throw pumpkins that can hurt the opponent if it hits them.
